Website Redesign Update/Request for Fall 2017 Changes

 

We are happy to report that the college’s website redesign project is moving along as planned! See our updated schedule below.

Please help us stay on target by submitting mission critical web changes for the Fall 2017 semester by Tuesday, Aug. 1. A special thanks to those who have already sent updates!

Web requests should be sent to editor@hvcc.edu, and items for the online Calendar of Events may be submitted through the form at www.hvcc.edu/secure/staff/marketing/event-submission.html.

In the weeks ahead, we will reach out to individual department directors and department chairpersons to discuss the content migration phase of the project.

  • Information Architecture: Dec. 2016 – Feb. 2017 COMPLETE
  • Design: Feb. – May 2017 COMPLETE
  • Front End HTML: May – July 2017 COMPLETE
  • Back End Coding: July – Aug. 2017 IN PROGRESS
  • Content Migration: Aug. – Dec. 2017
  • Launch of New Site: Early Jan. 2018
